Guest MattP Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 They should be so thankful the opposition are a joke. Omnishambles II this last few months.
ousefox Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 This first year in office has been an absolute joke. People vote in a government and then don't want anything they put forward It's like people didn't expect the Tories to make these sort of proposals. I can't imagine how much Corbyn would be getting ripped to shreds if it was his government making all these u-turns and having bills rejected in the Lords.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 The government is producing quite a trail of u-turned items that may come back to haunt them. If they can't come up with appropiate policy first up, how can you trust anything in the next manifesto it produces? Matt Hanncock was trying to pass it off as 'listening' which is a nice try, except it did take some almighty shouting from various areas they really took notice. Can't imagine this strengthens Hunt's position on the Junior Doctor Contracts debacle either.
Rincewind Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Hunt is too busy playing with his phone to listen to reason.
