Libertine Posted 18 September 2005 Posted 18 September 2005 This is the Tranmere team that faced Sc*nthorpe in the first round of the CC. Tranmere: Achterberg; Jackson, Sharps, Goodison; Jennings, Harrison, Rankine (Bruce 70), Roberts; Aiston, Greenacre, Davies (Hume 66). Substitutes not used: Wilson, Linwood, Whitmore. So, Hume can't play.
Anish Posted 18 September 2005 Posted 18 September 2005 Levein hinted at Hume playing in the Blackpool tied on the radio. He obviously didn't know either.

Can't see it happening but maybe a place on the bench for one of them. Not sure what the pecking order is at the moment with the young strikers. From what I've read, Chambo's been a permanent fixture in the under 18s and played a few reserve games.

Jay Posted 18 September 2005 Posted 18 September 2005 I heard something about him recently coming back from a bad injury I think. was he the one who did his knee ligaments in and spent last season getting help and advice from Morris and Wilcox?
Jonbluefox9 Posted 18 September 2005 Posted 18 September 2005 was he the one who did his knee ligaments in and spent last season getting help and advice from Morris and Wilcox? I think that was a lad called Smedley. I'm sure I read a report in the Sporting Blue the other week and Dodds played a game for Birstall reserves. Maybe it was to improve his fitness? If he is fit for Tuesday I wouldn't bet agaimst him getting a place on the bench
