To everyone - EVERYONE connected to this football club. Whatever happens today, this season has been absolutely incredible. I've loved every second of it (except for the Arsenal away match).

To Nigel Pearson, without whom we'd probably still be languishing in the Championship, or worse, League One. Thanks for your more entertaining moments of lunacy.

To Milan Mandaric, for selling up at the right time to the right people.

To the Thais, for EVERYTHING you have done. Like many of us, I was worried that they might have been a disaster like other foreign owners (Vincent Tan, Forest and Hull's owners etc). Instead, they came in with the best interests of the club and the fans at heart, treated it and us with the greatest of respect, stabilised the club and turned us into a real force to be reckoned with.

To Claudio - I didn't know what to think when we hired you. I wasn't doom and gloom like many others (mainly Gary and the press), to be honest I would have been happy with 17th on goal difference. You've come in and tinkered very little, and what you've achieved with this squad, regardless of what happens today and for the rest of the season, has to be one of the most incredible achievements in SPORT. And you've done it with the right kind of eccentricities (Nigel take note). You will be loved by each of us for the rest of our lives.

To the players - you've played some of the best football I've ever seen from this football club. You will each go down in history for whatever happens in the next few hours and few weeks. I can't wait to see the movie.

To fans of other clubs that have been cheering us on - the good will directed from you guys has been incredible to witness.

Thanks to my Dad, for inspiring my support of Leicester City when I could quite as easily been a glory hunter like most of the other kids at school.

To those who didn't quite make it - my grandparents for one - they'd never have believed this! But also to glenelgfox and others who devoted their love and time to this club but sadly aren't here to witness this. I'm sure they'll do you proud.

And to YOU - my fellow Foxes. I've been a fan for more than 20 years, since my dad took me down for my first game. Of course, he didn't know that you couldn't pay on the gate any more so we got turned away (Prat); the next time, my actual first game, I was sat in the South Stand above the Kop. We lost 2-1 to Liverpool and I was hooked.

I was there at Wembley 1996.

I was there at Wembley 1997.

I was there when we lost to Spurs in 1999.

I was there at Wembley 2000.

I was there when we lost to Athletico Madrid and Remi Harrel - we sat in the away end as they'd returned some tickets. Sitting right next to Kop at that moment with the most incredible atmosphere - my dad still remembers a 12 year old me screaming "the weferee's a willy puller" at the top of my lungs. That game is one of my favourite memories of the last 20 years despite the result.

I was there when 18,000 of us stood up for the last 10 minutes against Man Utd, condemned to relegation, all singing and declaring our love for Leicester City - that beautiful moment still brings tears to my eyes. Another of my favourite memories despite the result.

I was there when we said goodbye to Filbert Street, and when we said hello to the Walkers Stadium.

I was there for 5 seasons with my dad, during the Peter Taylor and Mickey Adams years. I idiotically went to University and ended up only being able to catch a few games a season for the last 10 years.

I was there when we were shit. I was there when we were great.

I sadly can't be there today, or next week, as I'm currently travelling around Southern Africa - I spent 3 months watching us with my fellow Cape Town Foxes (Hi guys!) and will be watching today from a pub in Gaborone, Botswana.

This football club has broken my heart more times than I care to remember but it has also helped repair it and make it dance just as often. You might think it's crazy to invest your emotions with a football club but this season, unbelievably, it's paid off. Whatever happens today, it's been a fvcking pleasure sharing it with this community - WE ARE LEICESTER CITY. And we've earned this, more than many other fans. Few of the big club's fans could ever comprehend what this season means to us - and we never even asked for this. We just asked for them to do us proud - and that they have done.

Thank you, Leicester City, MY Leicester City, OUR Leicester City, for everything you have given me.

Cheers

Ian

(PS - anyone need some extra motivation?

It was very good to read your history linked with Leicester. I can't tell a similar story. But for me, supporter of a german football Club for more than fifty years it was amazing to watch a lot of Leicester matches on TV since November.

Some hours ago I saw the Chelsea match and in the last ten minutes oft this match I think became ten years older.

I wish all the fans , the squad , the town and the whole Club all the best from Spain where I'm staying for holidays.

Done very well, Foxes !!!

Thanks to King Richard III... he now has his crown.

A Royal car park attendant, who even in passing,

has an entrance parking ticket in the after life.!!!

His revenge is complete, now he can conquer Europe.

The Owners, we owe them big, oh yes what a great investment call by them.

Leicester---Thailand. King Power..

Claudio Ranieri, not enough words in the dictionary, not enough praise in the Bible,

This mans intelligence, humour, humble presentation, took an idea rode with it,

blended it, strengthened a thought, and the approach. Then seen our strengths and

weaknesses and rolled them into one big unbelievable package...

I cant wait for his up and coming interview...

This reads like a poem
