Tommy Wright would give 110% for the full 90 minutes if he played! For **** sake Nathan Blake is just jere for his pension and then he's off! Tommy Wright deserves a chance!A good manager would see that things need freshining up and putting a lazy donkey on the bench instead of a young fit lad with talent who scored 2 goals in 2 starts last time we were in this division! Wake up Micky put him on the bench and let him come on with 20 minutess to go that would really shit up the oppositions back four! What does Nathan Blake do?**** all tries to block the keepers kicks all the time! Get Tommy in to live things up!

Benji Posted 31 August 2004 Posted 31 August 2004 i''ve not seen him much but from what i have he's the sort of player that when i cross is put in he's there and THATS what we've lacked everytime the balls delivered in theres no one there fighting for it agains tthe last defender/keeper although i've not always thought best of him to start, after the performances i've seen so far, he's the tactical player we've been missing IMO

It goes deeper than that, basic structure needs to change. Wright might not have looked that good in the reserves, but on current form and the current state of our team if a young eager player is knocking them in for the reserves then he deserves a crack.

In the season preview 04/05 supplement a wolves fan is asked 'player you would most want to get rid of?. He said 'Dave Jones has binned him already: Nathan Blake'. Hardly suprising really since he only scored 1 goal last season. Also, even longer back, the same magazine did a 'relegation masters' feature. Guess who the 'star player' was with five relegations to his name was.

Might be a London thing, but Leicester's a possible commute. Hayles or Blake? Hmmmmmm
