sylofox Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 Jesus did you learn nothing at school. Icelanders are proud to call themselves descendants Vikings, the whole island has 100's of relics relating to their ancestors. They were coming to England to sign on and got lost. Ended up in Iceland and stayed.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 June 2016 Posted 18 June 2016 The lack of historical knowledge here is absolutely appalling. Vikings settled in bloody Iceland! They also settled in parts of the north of England, where, they became institutionalised, as they did in Iceland, but the name of Viking remained. I believe your lack understanding this, needs brushing up somewhat.
