Nalis Posted 24 June 2016 Posted 24 June 2016 Not being pedantic or anything but we beat Ukraine 2-0... And we were playing the World Champions knowing a narrow defeat might be enough. Put it this way, if we needed to avoid a heavy defeat in the last game of the season 2 seasons ago to avoid relegation in our last game of the season and we were away to Chelsea (of that season) losing 1-0, I best most fans would have been happy to contain rather than going all out, losing 4/5 nil and sending us down. Common sense really.
