Great Boos Up Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 "Leicester’s Jon Sammels, bought from Arsenal that summer, was the most impressive player "
Wortho Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 I was at that game. Don't remember much about the game but we did win. Great time to be Leicester fan. I hope we can repeat this on Sunday#fearless
Spudulike Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 I was just a little lad in the Kop that day. Could've sworn that it was a 25-yard screamer into the top corner. It was in my world.
fuchsntf Posted 4 August 2016 Posted 4 August 2016 Just one thing...I never forgot. With Bloomfield coming in, then jon Samuals being our first top buy of the summer. City even suprised their own fans over that period.. A manager from Chelsea, Sexton made his worse descision ever, that lit up my city life for 4yrs+.and even now, I believe we had just landed the best English player to put on a foxes shirt, and still With all his laudits, underestimated players of that time. Keith Weller. He also helped to fill the void of another great player who had then departed...Davie Gibson. And yes Stevie Whitworth IMO was/is the best RB I have seen in a foxes shirt. Lb we have had a few.
