The Ticket Office - Ideas and Improvements Suggestions Thread

The whole ticket buying process is awful. Like buying a ticket from an airport terminal (kings of duty free) and the on-line system and phone lines are rubbish, (just accessing either is an achievement.)

Separate ticket office and more phone staff please would be a start.

And yes totally agree with all that say there should be a seperate ticket office like back in the day. Queuing with people buying fox leisure w*nk socks is ridiculous.

Someone said this is no longer the case and it is now separate? Not been in there since we relocated season tickets in the summer - definitely was still in there then.

Put Jim in charge of the ticket office. He's a good communicator and understands fans concerns and frustrations, and has the ability to separate genuine concerns from background moaning. Plus the fans trust him.

Give him the resources to run it properly

Invest in better telephone, website and software

Invest in staff training

Separate ticket office from shop (if not already done so)

If they have now separated the ticket office from the shop that is a good move because it does need doing.  If, however, it is a kiosk around the corner, as described, then that is an embarrassment for a premier league champion side.

Sack, whoever thought it was a good idea to merge the ticket office we use to have, it was good and looked ok, into the shop.

Have staff employed who know what they are doing and understand the system.

Have more people employed answering the telephones.

Do not give out false information re selling of tickets, ie Watford play off tickets away allocation some years ago turned up at 2 am some years ago queued was about twenty in the queue still didn't get a ticket as they had sold them,  doors opening at 9am. yet, was told they had 150 odd to sell.  Obviously they were sold to mates of people in ticket office etc.
