Head Honcho Posted 27 September 2005 Posted 27 September 2005 Why don't we ever seem to get any decent players on loan? I can't think of any but i'm sure you'll all correct me if i'm wrong
Jimmy Posted 27 September 2005 Posted 27 September 2005 the only 3 i can remember were muzzy when he 1st came in he was on loan, marcus bent and stuart taylor last year, no coincidence results piucked up when pieman was replaced
supedaj Posted 27 September 2005 Posted 27 September 2005 I dont think Levein likes it - he only kept Hammond on for a short while before he made it permanent. In some ways I'm with him on that one - why should we go and reinvent players for others to come and take them after they've done well - look at Marcus Bent a few seasons ago....

But if they can do a job for ya who cares? Get a couple of the young players on the fringes of the Premiership first teams, give em some 1st team experience and they can have em back at end of season. There's some good uns out there, use em!
supedaj Posted 27 September 2005 Posted 27 September 2005 yeah i suppose - did you have anyone specific in mind? what happened to mads timm - anyone know?
Head Honcho Posted 27 September 2005 Author Posted 27 September 2005 yeah i suppose - did you have anyone specific in mind? what happened to mads timm - anyone know? No one in mind. It's just that every time i watch the Championship highlights, some other team seems to have snapped up a half decent loaner. That Man Utd loaner Brighton Have looks quality! Cardiff have Ricketts,i know he was a bit of a gamble but you have to take a few in this league.
MADLEVEIN Posted 27 September 2005 Posted 27 September 2005 i havent really looked into it but it seems micheal dawson of spurs, ex forest, dont seem to be part of jol's plans at spurs and would be a great loan signing for us.

Sir JJ Wilcox Posted 27 September 2005 Posted 27 September 2005 Dawsons started 4 games for spurs so he is in Jols plans and we have no chance of gettin him here on loan
rossporterlc Posted 27 September 2005 Posted 27 September 2005 surely we could borrow some of spurs mid-fielders, they have a ridiculous amount
