Wellman Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 Gudjonsson. Not really, mind you I think he's been our best player so far this season.
Thracian Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 Why doesn't Levein satisfy both the JWAD and Tiatto camps - play Tiatto at Left Back and Wilcox at Left Wing. We'll get the best of both players then - a left back totally dedicated to chasing the ball (which he just lost), and a left wing with more pace than Sylla and Hammond combined (when they both have broken legs). Awesome. each his own  Suggesting that Tiatto is a better left back than Sheehan just takes the mickey even in jest cos some manager I know will probably take you seriously he's so keen to include his pet guard dog.
Thracian Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 Gudjonsson. I don't actually think passion and commitment are lacking in City's team. Do Stearman, Sheehan (when he plays), McCarthy, Hughes, Joey, Hume, MDV, Hammond, Dion lack commitment? Just because they're not so stupid as to go around like frantic Jack Russell's and engage in tackles more suited to kick-boxing doesn't mean they lack commitment. What's probably lacking at City is the one extra attacker (who Tiatto displaces) and who would probably make the difference between scoring and not scoring. If I were the opposing manager I'd just get the players to each wind him up one at a time. He'd be off by half-time.
Scow Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 Not really, mind you I think he's been our best player so far this season. Is Gudjonsson committed, passionate and a battler? Yes.
Wellman Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 Is Gudjonsson committed, passionate and a battler? Yes. They show it in different ways to be honest. But Tiatto shows it more in the way he plays.
Chrysalis Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 Well I would play wilcox, a few facts. We play better when he is in the team. We have a problem attacking, tiatto is a more defensive player then wilcox. Wilcox is a better passer of the ball and can create things. Tiatto has had more chances to prove his place in the team and hasnt been satisfactory.
Katy Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 When did we last win with Tiatts in the side just out of interest?
davieG Posted 30 September 2005 Posted 30 September 2005 They show it in different ways to be honest. But Tiatto shows it more in the way he plays. Or you could say "But Tiatto shows it more in the way he doesn't play".
