norwichfox Posted 29 November 2016 Posted 29 November 2016 Would be great for Leicester if he did win it, but I can't see it happening given his performances since winning the title. Would love to hear the presenter say "and the winner is Mr #chatshitgetbanged himself Jamie Vardy" It isn't going to happen though, nailed on for Murray
Facecloth Posted 29 November 2016 Posted 29 November 2016 Murray will win it. Unless people don't vote because they assume he'll win. Farah second. Third is anyones guess. Could be a cyclist, they vote in droves, or if City fans hijack it Vardy could sneak third. If no irregular voting goes on I'd probably guess at Brownlee. Leicester should win team of the year. Claudio should win coach, but we won't with both, so that'll go to an Olympic coach. Bolt will probably get the overseas award.
Nalis Posted 29 November 2016 Posted 29 November 2016 Frampton should have been shortlisted. Murray will deservedly win it and if he doesnt it will be scandalous. Would be ****ing hilarous and brilliant if Vardy gets in the top 3.
crazyleicester Posted 29 November 2016 Posted 29 November 2016 The word "Personality" in this award always cracks me up. Most of the winners seem to lack personality, Andy Murray included. I know we must be nailed on for team of the year (bookies have as at 1/7) but I cant see Vards getting the individual award. Dont get me wrong, his season was that phenomenal that he needs to be considered but Murray has won the Olympics and another Grand Slam and has made it to world number 1. They`ll be the Olympians who seem to get favoritism as well. If anyone fancies a punt, you can get 150/1 on Vards http://www.oddschecker.com/awards/sports-personality-of-the-year/winner but with Murray at 1/6, Id say it may be a bit of a waste of money! He is 8/1 to get top 3 which may be worth a few pennies.
