davieG Posted 14 January 2017 Posted 14 January 2017 We have zero creativity without Mahrez and are incapable of stringing more than 2 passes together. The ball is like a hot potato no body wants it. The defence and midfield have one aim on their mind hoof it up front and hope the strikers are somewhere near it. 90+% of Kasper's clearances were to Chilwell to flick on all Chelsea had to do was ensure Vardy and Musa were covered, it was boring and utterly predictable. Why change the defence when they were just starting to get back on their game and against the team at the top of the league?

Mike Oxlong Posted 14 January 2017 Posted 14 January 2017 We had one nice passsage of play in the first half when N'Didi knocked it out wide to Albrighton. Barring that we only hold onto the ball when we are going sideways and backwards. God knows what they do down Belvoir Drive !
davieG Posted 14 January 2017 Posted 14 January 2017 Quote Ranieri “Of course, I’m not happy that we conceded a goal at the beginning of the first half and the beginning of the second half, but if you take out those two goals, the match was good for us. We closed the space, we mirrored Chelsea with a 3-5-2 and it was good. We are a hoof ball team and we need a formation and players that fit that or we need better suited players. The match was good for us? Aye plenty of effort but sadly lacking in skill and execution of play, it was simply a shambles. I've watched a lot of tv footy just lately from the PL to league one and that was the worst performance by some distance.
