Would he really mention Gray being "A snip at 3.7 million?" I don't think a lot of what was quoted here was actually said in the interview. Maybe a slip from our supreme lord rather than made up press rubbish. Plays into my conspiracy theory that King has been the mastermind player/boss this past decade. Secretly, behind the scenes from the press, with so called managers employed as a front to take the pressure off, he has brought promotion, survival and other honours. Now, he will mastermind another escape whilst staying in the shadows of our very own Argonath, Huth and Morgan.

A snip at 3.7m no I would not expect any player to make a comment like that. He should have told the truth and said he's a cvnt and 3.7m was a fvcking waste. That would have boosted team moral.
