From the stands I thought he had a poor game. Very inconsistent in the fouls he was giving and then not giving. Tbh I haven't seen the highlights back so don't know if he got the key decisions right or wrong, but he definitely seemed to let the occasion get to him a bit. Also made the mistake of reaching for the yellow card too quick in the first half too.
ealingfox Posted 22 February 2017 Posted 22 February 2017 Said many times since the game that Rizzoli was probably the best refereeing performance I've seen in a game I've been at, couldn't tell you how impressed I was. Suppose he didn't have any massive decisions to make but was still superb throughout.
Ted Maul Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Yeah he was excellent. On the other hand, Sevilla weren't exactly throwing themselves around and play acting. Quite refreshing for a side from Spain.
