Who is more useless for England?

As part of a discussion that is taking place in my house, I thought I'd gather opinions...who has been more useless for England at an international level only? Steven Gerrard or Ian Bell?

Lampard looks far better adapted to the International stage than Gerrard does, since Munich 5-1 I've not seen Stevie put in a good performance for England to be honest. We do need a holding player but knowing our luck Sven will give that duty to his bumboy Hargreaves.

Ian Bell was terrific in the field but didnt do that well with the bat - he's still a youngster at that level, once he's had more practise on the big scene he will be an excellent player.

I thought it was quite fitting how Motty described Sven as 'getting animated' when he stood up and blew his nose. Most exciting thing he has done for a couple of years.
