Still unable to keep the ball, lack of cutting edge other than in the Arsenal game! Stoke have taken points from both Arsenal and Man U. Yes they have at their home ground. When have they last won at the emirates or old Trafford?
DennisNedry Posted 10 September 2017 Posted 10 September 2017 Shakey is clutching at straws. To take the Chelsea game as the example, the only 'big moment' that didn't go our way was the Slimani chance. We didn't create anything else of note all game (penalty was out of nothing from Vardy). What about the Morata chance he fluffed at 0-0? The handball shout vs Maguire? Willian 1v1 with Kasper? All of these 'big moments' went our way. We've just not been good enough to challenge the big teams we've faced so far, bar Arsenal where Shakey was arguably to blame with his substitutions.
adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 10 September 2017 Posted 10 September 2017 The manager has realised that he has failed in the transfer window and instead of strengthening his side he has made it weaker by losing a key player and having one sat on the sidelines until January all this could of been sorted early august, still early on in the season thou and we have had a rough run of games but 3 points out of that just shows how weak we are needed a couple of draws, and could of had the win against arsenal but for CS terrible choice of substitutes got a feeling gonna say that a lot this season is the reason we are failing Atm however I think we will turn I around and CS will learn from this
Max Wall Posted 10 September 2017 Posted 10 September 2017 Our 'big moments' have been the last three transfer windows and they definitely 'haven't gone our way.' Who's to blame? Answers on a postcard to :- It's too feckin' late, 12th of never street, Blunderland.
