Might have been something to do with money though. But don't quote me as there are many films done in B/W because of money and can't remember which after a few beers.

It will stop me from spending more money for sure! But i need a night in, just to chill out and relax! However, plans will probably change and we will go out, and then watch it wen we get back!

Well just watched it and what can i say

Easily the most touching film i have ever watched, almost cried 4 times in the film

the symbol of the girl in the red coat as humanity that could not prevail innevitablility was the most powerful part for me as was his desciption of a man with power which brought out any humanity in Gorn (or whatever his name was), well until he shot the boy that couldn't get the stain out of the bath.

will be getting the book definitely, see how it can compare emotively through just text.

It's always best to read the book first I find so your mind is not influenced by the film images this way they are all yours and unique plus it's easier to judge the quality of the book.

But you should still read it.

But if you read the book first, are you not usually disappointed with the film not doing justice to it? :P
