If you go to Rue Solferino it's a big bar district and fairly cheap. Went in O'Scotland a lot when I was there for the Euros. Obviously there's bars near the station and main square too, but they're a fair bit pricier.

Just chatting to my french mate who lives in Lille and  asked him best place for tomorrow, 

He replied with this: 

Best place to spend the pre match is les 3 brasseurs, right in front of the train station Lille Flandres. Then you go to the stadium with the Subway (maybe 30min). There is nothing to do around the stadium

There were a few in the bars in the main square at about 3 o'clock
