Match-prepared shirts signed by Jamie Vardy and Kasper Schmeichel, carrying a tribute to our beloved Leicester City Chairman, are being offered as raffle prizes to raise funds for the newly-named Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation.
Khun Vichai Shirts

- The Club has received many offers of donations and the raffle is a way for those supporters to contribute to The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation
- Shirts embroidered with poppies will be auctioned for the Royal British Legion at the end of the month

The Football Club has been inundated with offers of donations from the footballing world for the charity, which was renamed in honour of our late Chairman, and the raffle provides a way for those individuals and organisations to make their kind contributions to a worthy cause.

Real shame it's email bids. Hopefully the poppy ones will be on eBay again at least you can then see what the current bid is and make a sensible bid.

That's not a criticism of the club as such. But doing It via email means reading a load of emails only to know some wealthy box holder or whoever has already But someone's annual salary.

The raffle idea is much better. If they had just put them all in one raffle surely we would have sold a good 20k so that's 200k to the charity and I'd guess that's a conservative estimate.

That's around 13k per shirt.

Some may call it profiteering. Personally I have no problem with it.

I entirely agree with that and even the most hard up but loyal fan has an opportunity for a peice of history for  £10. I hope that they get a bundle for the charity but auctions are out of my league I'm afraid.

I don’t have a problem either, in an auction you bid what you’re prepared to pay for the item.

So just email your bid and that’s it, no need to cry because you can’t see who has bid what.

The more money they make if someone bids an annual salary the better.

As I say I wasn't really knocking the club but in an auction you also don't bid 500 quid straight off the bat if no one else is bidding.

I like the fact that the legion ones go on eBay Nowdays as at least you can see if you can afford a bid and if one goes out your reach you have an alternative to bid on.

If it is an online auction I just put in the maximum I'm prepared to pay and walk away until it has finished, I don't see why you want to look at what others have placed.

Regarding your raffle idea, it is very flawed and made more prominent by the bags on Ebay, if some scrote won the shirt Jamie Vardy wore for a score, what would he do?

Stick it straight on ebay to make a few quid, this week has shown you that surely.

Yes but the likes of eBay give you that option but if it hasn't made your maximum they don't just charge you that automatically.

I love the fact it’s a raffle, much fairer than the auctions. Every year I watch the poppy shirt auctions on eBay and can’t  afford any of them.

Every club had its share of idiots,  but I think most lcfc fans would treasure one of these shirts and keep it forever, I know I would! Have everything crossed! ?
