Ps4 VR headset and games bundle advice needed

My lad's ps4 disc drive is knackered (hurled into the garden after a row!)

 

Since then, he simply downloads new games.

 

Looking at the VR headset camera and game bundle for Xmas. Does anyone know if disc games automatically have a download code to get the game via downland instead?

No. Downloads are separate to the disc versions. If you brought the disc then theoretically you could sell someone the download version of the game.

 

Sounds like you may need a new PS4 if you want the VR

Ps Worlds (or whatever it is called) that comes with the bundle is a download code in the box. The "demo disk" is also an online download from the PS Store. 

 

Other games that are part of a bundle made by wherever you buy it will likely be disks though.
