Yes the front 4, if you were actually watching the games you'd see that in a 4-2-3-1 system the 3 attacking midfielders join in and rotate around, pushing beyond the 1 at times.

Thank you Doctor (poor American accent)

Um... but it’s bullshit.

It’s one up front with two ****ing defenders who get involved after runnimg 75yds only to chip aimless balls into the box; where is the forth you write about anyway ?

Well again, if you'd actually watched any matches rather than refusing to go because we're at our level, you'd see it's Vardy supported by (on Tuesday) Gray, Diabate and Iheanacho and usually Maddison and some combination of Gray, Albrighton and Ghezzal. It's 3 advanced midfielders and a striker, all with sole focus on attacking - in other words a front 4, which isn't the same as playing 4 strikers...

First thing. I have watched every game, despite not being there in person.

I think the difference in opinion is the nuance of your use of ‘front four’. For me a ‘front man’ is a striker not midfielders who have the freedom to get forward.

Either way, the formation is a load of old bollox, inasmuch as it’s not getting the best out of the players we have. That has been the case for going on a year, since the ‘new manager bounce’ effect wore off so far as I can see.

You mention Tuesday, wholesale changes (in a Cup competition he stated we were desperate to win) and two shots on target. He got extremely lucky again, that cannot continue.

Very little of what he does makes any sense.
