How often does a new chairman come in and then a manager who is doing well at a club leaves?

I remember it actually happened to Micky Adams ( I think) at Fulham and to a lesser extent Ranieri at Chelsea.

but Burley was given the job by the new owner and current board Romanov was already in control of the club when Burley was given the job

I think he walked as Romanov was signing players behind his back.

ok..maybe not....but that wasnt my point! I was trying to say that even though the club is top of the league it can be managerless!
