Rarely makes the bench let alone play now and we're crying out for a new backup striker who will take his place in the squad. He's old and just not needed, the resources are better spent elsewhere, just like it is with Simpson. Makes zero sense to me to have offered him a contract and there have been no rumours to suggest we would / have.

I know, and take all your points. However.......I think he's the one player with the integrity not to leak it if they had done such a thing. So I don't entirely rule it out.
