Nationwider Posted 27 October 2005 Posted 27 October 2005 Working me little cotton socks off at work, revising for exams, and selling a house, so I'm about a 10-11 at the moment. Has anyone noticed a correlation between stress and eating? I've developed a worrying habit of eating Walkers Squares of late.
Random Burglar Posted 27 October 2005 Posted 27 October 2005 bout 9, maybe 10. I have loads to do including clenaing, WORK, coursework, no money and needing money, and other "issues"! But thats life, i have to put up with it! should you be at uni?
cisono Posted 27 October 2005 Posted 27 October 2005 Working me little cotton socks off at work, revising for exams, and selling a house, so I'm about a 10-11 at the moment. Considering what you are going through, you are still doing well !!! Has anyone noticed a correlation between stress and eating? I've developed a worrying habit of eating Walkers Squares of late. Sure, there is a close correlation. Usually, we feel hungrier when stressed. And we tend to go for sweets.
cisono Posted 27 October 2005 Posted 27 October 2005 I have loads to do including clenaing, WORK, coursework, no money and needing money, and other "issues"! Issues? Sounds serious...

The problem is I suffer from sporadic bouts of lazyitis/denial at important moments, such as a week before exams. I'm too much of a last-minute merchant for my own good.

I see... more of a time management issue then. I usually manage to pack lots of stuff in my week and the problem is that I end up feeling like I have superhuman energy and try to pack even more into it. However, at some later time, I then inevitably run out of energy and it hits me all of a sudden (like a little kid). That is when I feel stressed out. Talking of stress, got stopped by a cop today. I managed not to get stressed out over it though
Hitesh Posted 27 October 2005 Posted 27 October 2005 Issues? Sounds serious... Not really serious but enough for me to worry enough! Sort of made some of them worse last night but ah well...i have a weekend to chill out and forget bout all my worries! Im going to Leicester to meet my family and celebrate Diwali! Should be good!
Alexikokopops Posted 27 October 2005 Posted 27 October 2005 -10, Alex is very relaxed. The weekend starts here.

I can't do work until i get that "6 hours to hand in" pressure. I don't think it produces the best work possible
cisono Posted 28 October 2005 Posted 28 October 2005 Same here mate. I can't do work until i get that "6 hours to hand in" pressure. I don't think it produces the best work possible 6 hours? You ARE leaving it a bit late...
Nationwider Posted 28 October 2005 Posted 28 October 2005 6 hours? You ARE leaving it a bit late... No - it can be done. Trust me, I've been there enough times. It gets scarier when it creeps into your working life, though.
cisono Posted 30 October 2005 Posted 30 October 2005 No - it can be done. Trust me, I've been there enough times. It gets scarier when it creeps into your working life, though. I didn't mean that it cannot be done. It clearly can, if you two do it. But is it worth doing it that way? Is that the best strategy? - that is what I meant...
