For me this should have been put up on the concourse bit at the front. A bit like how Middlesbrough have their old gates in front of the Riverside.

Why does the club not own this and have it in storage, why is it not outside the KP or at least have plans for it to be used in a club museum or something?

That's not the original, just a recreation. 

 

Not sure why the article states it was demolished when the Carling Stand was built?
