England U16s vs Northern Ireland

It's England's second game tonight (on Sky Sports 1, coverage starts at 7:30pm)

Joe Mattock is in the squad again :) Chambo isn't, and he wasn't in the reserves last night, so I assume he's injured? (Or in the squad for Saturday ;))

Squad: http://www.thefa.com/England/U16s/NewsAndF...ad_Selected.htm

That squad was chosen a week or so ago without him, but yesterday on the OS it said he was away with the England Under 16 squad so perhaps he's been called up late and the site hasn't updated it.

Don't know if she'll be in luck... they're both on the bench: http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~736592,00.html

It only takes Chambers a minute to score, he'll still do the business.

Nice to hear Magunda is doing well, i've seen him once and he marshalled the defence well. In a year or so we could have 5 very talented players in Sheehan, Magunda, Stearman, Wesolowski and Chambers. Very exciting times.

Don't think he touched the ball until the last 5 minutes. Victor Moses of Crystal Palace looks amazing.

Simon Jordan was hyping him up a few days ago, then said he hoped the premiership vultures didn't looking for him. Not really the best way to keep a young starlet under wraps is it?

to be fair, the hype around victor moses has been going on for nearly a year. any premiership team looking at him would have known about him well before jordan wrote that column. although i agree it was stupid of him to use names in the article.

TBH we have been saying it is exciting times for years. but they all end up being crap (bar Stearman & Sheehan) from what i saw of Mattock he didn't exactly convince me. We used to thinkl Jordan was good. I rathersee 11 good players on the pitch now than in 5 years time. Who knows what could happen in that time.

We've never had 5 players on the fringes of the first team with the potential that Stearman, Sheehan, Wesolowski, Chambers and Magunda have got. Plus there's a few others. Obviously some of the lads mentioned might not become as good as the fans think they might but i'm willing to put money on it that Stearman, Wesolowski and possibly Chambers will be premiership players and good one's at that!

Me and my mate were talking to a lad who plays for Leicester City under 16s today and he said how good Mattock is. Sounds like he's very composed on the ball and comfortable taking the ball forward. He also mentioned some other lads that he said are very good but I think they're 14 or 15 year olds. I remember him saying the name Cox and he did mention Beswick too but his name's been around a fair bit this season.
