Rincewind Posted 6 November 2005 Posted 6 November 2005 I never sign up for anything like this. They will bombard you with adverts/offers or whatever they choose to call them for things that they think students want. Some students will feel obliged to buy off the register instaed of looking round for the same item cheaper elsewhere. If they quote a 'special offer' then the higher price will be the MRP and not the shop price. Of course I am just guessing as a non-student but I also get things through the post which are normally filed in the bin. Same with all the leaflets in newspapers - junk.
