What do we need?

We scored the 4th highest amount of goals in the league, but the majority of those were before January. Vardy will never match those early season figures so wingers are the key. We've needed a world class one since Mahrez left, this summer it has to be done and it has to be the right player if we want to do well next season.

 

I personally think the starting defence is fine, and so is the CDM position with Wilf. Only thing we could do with is another CB who is a higher quality than Bennett or Benko, preferably someone with some pace. If we're gonna use 3 CBs reguarly though then we should really sign someone who's class, especially as Evans is getting on a bit now.

 

We might need a number 10 too, depends on where Maddison plays next season. Too many times we've had Iheanacho there messing up the attack, we need someone better, let Iheanacho play up top in a two or as Vardys understudy. We'll have so many games next season that they'll both get a lot of minutes. I think Perez will always be an average EPL player, he'll never be amazing, he's a good squad player though.

 

Barnes needs to work on his finishing, will be an amazing player if he can do that.

To me that's a fantastic 11, as long as the RW is world class. It's just our bench and squad players that need to improve, need a couple that are roughly first team quality that we can bring on from the bench.

Even that 11, with a couple of new signing looks a fairly decent team, just mix in a couple of players from the starting 11 and it looks a pretty good team.
