Ric Flair Posted 9 November 2005 Posted 9 November 2005 I don't find it a problem that they went out on the piss, if it was the night before a game then fair enough but when you haven't got a game for 2 weeks then they can get as pissed as they want as far as i'm concerned. It's also nice as a fan to get the chance to talk to a few of the players even if they aren't bothered about the club as some people say. I wonder why Smudger wasn't there? He stays in the same hotel as Hume and they often hang out together so i've heard. Perhaps Smith was having it gangsta down in London.
Darth Fox Posted 9 November 2005 Posted 9 November 2005 I still remember Matt Elliot being in Russells literally 5 minutes after full time at one match at Walkers. Walshy was in there also as was Matt's wife. No idea how he managed to get to the pub before us as we left ground dead on full time.

Apparently he was often 'injured' during the first half of a game and would then be in the pub before the supporters who left at half time. Brilliant!
