Sir JJ Wilcox Posted 6 November 2005 Posted 6 November 2005 Was in the night club Life last night and seen a number of city players in there buyin rounds of £40 a piece and were sloshed. players included Tiatto, Henderson, Johansson, kisnorbo and Hume among others, Was talking to Tiatto and he bought me a bottle of stella. Top bloke
Matt Posted 6 November 2005 Posted 6 November 2005 But is it really a good thing to see players out getting pissed? Fair enough everyone has to have a life but we as fans are clearly not happy with the proformances whether it be were mad at the players or managers, e.t.c but its ok the players will go out get pissed ....it'll be alright

Top bloke No wonder Tiatto wanted to give up international football As for the rest I suppose they are on a 2 week break.

The games gone and theres a space till the next one.
Matt Posted 6 November 2005 Posted 6 November 2005 They're bonding with the fans in the clubs and having a good time, whats wrong with that? The games gone and theres a space till the next one. I didn't actually think about the 2 week break!
Sir JJ Wilcox Posted 6 November 2005 Author Posted 6 November 2005 But by going out and actually talking to fans made me actually believe they care about whats happening at the club gettin pissed is abonus for themselves. It's not new for footballers to go out and get pissed anyway they get all this money so there bound to spend it on things like alchol. Between them they must have ran up at least £700
Guest Gist Posted 6 November 2005 Posted 6 November 2005 Nice to see players mixing in with the fans thats how it should be
Alexikokopops Posted 6 November 2005 Posted 6 November 2005 I didn't actually think about the 2 week break! Plus teams usually only train on a Sunday if they've played abysmally on the Saturday and the manager calls them in, so Satdee's a good drinking night
Head Honcho Posted 6 November 2005 Posted 6 November 2005 I didn't actually think about the 2 week break! They don't need a two week break for an excuse to have a piss up.

Top bloke It doesn't surprise me that Tiatto was friendly or that they were "sloshed"
The People's Hero Posted 6 November 2005 Posted 6 November 2005 Is Life good on a sat night? I spent the night in High Cross/Bar Risa/The Lansdowne.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 6 November 2005 Posted 6 November 2005 It's good to hear that the players are bonding with each other and they're bonding with the fans too. I'm pleasantly surprised that they didn't go to a private place or a place where only certain types of people are allowed in. I'm a bit worried that Kisnorbo might actually be pissed on Saturdays too though.
Collymore Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 Best one was when I saw frank Sinclair dancing in a club just hours after being stretchered off! You big joker Frank
Janx Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 They're bonding with the fans in the clubs and having a good time, whats wrong with that? The games gone and theres a space till the next one. the fact that you think players want to "bond" with the people really amuses me. Come on, face facts, players do not give one iota of thought for us... really ... come on! All that badge kissing and clapping the fans, lets face it, they have no worries, they get paid for playing shite and it doesnt matter who they play for, as long as they get paid..... Sorry, nothing personal, but I think people who think otherwise are deluding themselves!!

I reckon there's more ego-massaging going on than developing relations with us mere mortals!
The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 Without doubt. I'm the same with my job. I'm nice to the people I'm paid to be nice to, when I go home and in fact even when I'm at work, I genuinely don't actually give a sh it!
Janx Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 Thank gawd for that for a minute I thought I must be turning into Scrooge/The Grinch/Waldorf and Staedtler etc etc Bah!!
The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 Shall I take some time off work and make the 6853 mile trip to Bolton on my birthday? I'm putting this in this thread as its the one I'm currently looking at. So there.

The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 Life was always sh it when I went. I do remember my mate pulling a midget in there though. Not just a midget but an ugly midget. Also, she gave him a fake number. Classic!

The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 Unfortunately not. I was urging it to be flirt divert though. Probably he was so pis sed he put the number in wrong anyway.
cisono Posted 8 November 2005 Posted 8 November 2005 Unfortunately not. I was urging it to be flirt divert though. Probably he was so pis sed he put the number in wrong anyway. Had he not been so p*ssed, he may not have bothered to take her number anyway?!?!
Cat Burger Posted 8 November 2005 Posted 8 November 2005 I remember seeing Marcus Bent out after we lost 5-1 to Villa. I wasn't happy to see him.
