We have had a great footballing pyramid but alas i fear that many small clubs will fail to out live the virus local club to me Dover Athletic who got good crowds for a non league team are saying that they have just a couple of weeks left i fear many bigger league clubs may be in a similar position particularly league one or two clubs with no match day revenue coming in. What do you think the FA need to do to protect grass roots football.

Go to the government with the begging bowl?Where no doubt it will be pointed out by whoever the current sports minister is,that the game is awash with cash so bugger off. It’s a mess.Peterborough’s chairman reckons only 5 League 1 clubs will get through the season.Don’t know how the seasons finances were planned.Assuming that the National League were relying on crowds being let back in by now.Put the whole league in administration maybe?

I did think they weren't starting the National League if fans weren't allowed in?

Shame isn't it because Dover have got Notts County first game of the season which is a big game.
