The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 Off to watch it now. Sounds good. Bet you all wanted to know that huh? Also - what is anyone's view on X Factor? I vowed not to watch it, but my girlfriend has really got me in to it. I don't like most of the acts but do like Chico Oh and Journey South. Any views on these or any other film/tv things at the moment? Frenchy - Chicken Little. Everywhere in Paris - what is he?
The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2005 Author Posted 7 November 2005 At least I was going to watch The Wicker Man until I saw that Grand Designs is on!

MC Prussian Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 Are you talking about the original made in 1973? They're just shooting the remake here around town in Vancouver. Nicolas Cage plays the sheriff. The Wicker Man (2006) on imdb.com
The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2005 Author Posted 7 November 2005 I'm watching Most Haunted and I'm actually quite scared. Any one ever seen/sensed a ghostie?

cisono Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 I'm watching Most Haunted and I'm actually quite scared. Any one ever seen/sensed a ghostie? Nope. What qualifies as a ghost?
The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2005 Author Posted 7 November 2005 Erm... a ghostie. Of some description. They're white and almost tranparent and they go woooo, woooo.
cisono Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 Erm... a ghostie. Of some description. They're white and almost tranparent and they go woooo, woooo. What about seeing a person who looks "normal" but other people just cannot see?
The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2005 Author Posted 7 November 2005 Yeah that would also count unless the other people were blind? Did you hear about Blunkett - he turned up for work today. Nobody had told his dog he'd resigned.
cisono Posted 7 November 2005 Posted 7 November 2005 Yeah that would also count unless the other people were blind? Hmmm... nope, I haven't seen one of those either... Did you hear about Blunkett - he turned up for work today. Nobody had told his dog he'd resigned.

The People's Hero Posted 7 November 2005 Author Posted 7 November 2005 I seriously hope I'm not that middle one with the right eye three times the size of the left eye. Looks painful. Intriguing though.
Katy Posted 8 November 2005 Posted 8 November 2005 I seriously hope I'm not that middle one with the right eye three times the size of the left eye. Looks painful. Intriguing though. Just watch the fecking thing and report back...If you dare

Guest Posted 8 November 2005 Posted 8 November 2005 You missed out on some naked dancing then. That was the only bit I hid behind the sofa for. What an unnecessary and pointless scene. The Wicker Man = Silly film I bought a Vampire Motorcycle, now that's what you want to be watching!
BMR Posted 8 November 2005 Posted 8 November 2005 The Wicker Man is a good film, some think a classic, made on a very tight budget but with an eerie storyline, and it has Edward Woodward in it, later to become The Equalizer!
Katy Posted 8 November 2005 Posted 8 November 2005 It was the worst bloody thing I could have watched at that point in my life. I dont like the thought of people burning to death WE DIDNT BURN HIM!!!!
