Ric Flair Posted 9 November 2005 Posted 9 November 2005 http://www.football-league.premiumtv.co.uk...4~20057,00.html If you check out the above it shows that we are one of the top placed clubs for shots on target, off target and hit the woodwork in the whole league. I suppose it speaks volumes that we have poor finishers but atleast it shows that we do create chances and we aren't necessarily a defensive team, just a shit one.
Hutber's Law Posted 9 November 2005 Posted 9 November 2005 I reposted the link on another forum. There is no other forum.
City_4_Life Posted 9 November 2005 Posted 9 November 2005 Well at least we are making the chances But this just shows how poor our strikers finishing is
Steven Posted 9 November 2005 Posted 9 November 2005 There is no other forum. I am old school and came to this forum from another one many of us used to/do post on.
Ian Posted 9 November 2005 Posted 9 November 2005 Have a look at the team discipline table http://www.football-league.premiumtv.co.uk...4~20057,00.html Also i wasn't aware Reading havnt lost since the first game of the season!!! How good is that
Gené and Tonic Posted 9 November 2005 Posted 9 November 2005 Shows we need a new striker, and to keep our displine more.
PompeyFox Posted 9 November 2005 Posted 9 November 2005 Look where Reading and Sheff utd are. Shows how good they are at banging them in. We have just been proved how bad we are at popping it in the net. Hopefully Levin has looked at this chart and will sharpen the strikers up in the international break. All if and but's, just imagine where we could be in the league. Why dont they practice with 5 a-side goals up the training ground for some of the session. It will teach them to shoot at a small target, then when they get on the pitch the goals will be massive to them. Just a thought.
Lester LXXIV Posted 10 November 2005 Posted 10 November 2005 5th in the clean sheet table too, thats positive!
Guest Posted 10 November 2005 Posted 10 November 2005 5th in the clean sheet table too, thats positive! It's encouraging, and at least area has improved over the last few weeks.
Head Honcho Posted 10 November 2005 Posted 10 November 2005 Mark De Vries 38 fouls. Maybe he should stop chasing balls and concentrate on making runs for players to pass the ball through to him.
BenFilbert Posted 10 November 2005 Posted 10 November 2005 de Vries is the only striker that can score so i'm not too surprised that we are at the top. We've missed loads of chances with Hammond and Hume.
