He’s only come as a sub three times since we last won a PL game without him - Villa h 4-0, Arsenal a 1-0 and Palace a 1-1

 

We go from winning 1-0 to winning 4-0 and him bagging a brace.

losing 1-0 to drawing 1-1

Drawing 0-0 to him scoring the winner 1-0.

Hes missed 2 1-0 losses.

 

So barring a shocking Riena mistake to give Barnes the opener vs Villa. We havnt scored without him on the pitch and lost both he’s not featured in.

He is clearly , even at 33/34 so crucial. However our other 10 are as strong as we’ve ever had so hopefully we will be ok.
