There's a decent-sized market of folks who will buy shirts if they like the shirt, especially in the States. I think we'd be surprised by how many people would buy a Leicester shirt if the club and the manufacturer made a good effort on the shirt and the marketing campaign around it. We've been missing out on this opportunity.

I think there lies the issue. Why would they go to the effort to potentially shift a few more units when they already deal with the biggest clubs/athletes in the world who they know as soon as you stick their badge on it it’ll sell regardless of how it looks. It’s not necessarily something I agree with but Adidas don’t need to do it, they’re already the second biggest sports brand in the world (I think, behind Nike?). It’s clearly a trade off we knew we were going to have to make when signing a contract with them. We’d definitely get more creative license with a smaller brand for sure.

This thread reminds me of when a vintage shirt collector from the Netherlands got in touch with me, having recently become the owner of an old Leicester shirt from the 70s. It was in perfect condition and looked exactly like one of our old Admiral shirts but it was an Umbro shirt. Cal from the club along with John Hutchinson graciously took a look at the shirt and tried to figure out what it was or if we had ever used that shirt for any occasion. There was no record of us ever playing in the shirt and the most likely story they could figure out was that it was a prototype from Umbro that we took to Admiral, who duplicated it and undercut them on the price. lol

Looks fake.

You can tell the badge underneath the 'Logo' box is photoshopped and looks to be an old version of our logo.

Good because I Don't like it

Also it's clearly photoshopped from this...

Think this was from footy headlines when the new templates came out for 21/22 just looking at what we might have from them .
