I need to see more of VDC. If we sell a full back in a season or two then I suspect Iestyn could get a decent chance.

 

You'd think a loan, if he's already attracted attention in league one and the championship, would be the first step.

got to find a positive spin on the situation somehow.

 

Reality is it was probably the agent who put the story out about 'other clubs' being interested as United presumably didn't want to offer him a contract.....although i am surprised we have offered him a 3 year deal under those circumstances.....perhaps we see the value in him where others dont.....wouldnt be the 1st time that's happened?
