Does anyone follow this often?

I have been watching Lyon v Lille as I had a bet on. It was only a £5 both to score bet so nothing major but all I saw was constantly missing glaringly easy, for professional footballers, chances.

 

Own goals, easy lay offs, simple passes. They both had about 12 shots and hit the target about once each.

 

I am wondering if this is normal for Ligue 1 or just the law of sod and I jinxed it?

I meant open goals and not own goals.

Yep, have noticed there's a lot more goals this season each week. 

The standard isn't great. PSG stand out like a sore thumb. They've not even been that great this season and are miles ahead.

It's been a weirdly accessible watch this season. Tend to lean towards the Serie A as a default "if some foreign is on, I'll watch it" probably as a result of the glamour of the 90s/00s, but always have a look who's going at it in Ligue 1 on a Sunday.

In all seriousness though don't think I’ve watched a full game from this league ever, seems such a poor standard of football anytime I’ve tried.
