Ric Flair Posted 17 September 2004 Posted 17 September 2004 I've just been looking at Connolly stats on www.soccerbase.com and if you check out the 02/03 season you'll see what a goal machine he is. He scored 24 goals in 30 matches!!! He was out injured for quite abit of the season it appears, that's unreal. He scored 7 goals in 2 matches aswell, which just shows that when the man gets going he's lethal. He has also scored 4 goals in a game 3 times in his career, which is impressive and it doesn't include his time at Elxciour (spelling) where he scored 32 goals in 29 matches for them. Come on Dave, let the bear have some salmon.
Ricey Posted 17 September 2004 Posted 17 September 2004 Whenever I've seen him he has looked lively but not a threat, that potential is there clearly buy needs a goal to boost his confidence. I fancy him grabbing a brace tomorrow.
Guest Daniel Posted 17 September 2004 Posted 17 September 2004 I think he will do it tommorow. Im fed up of him missing chances. History means bollocks all these days, didnt Ade have a good record when he came to us?

His stats
Ric Flair Posted 17 September 2004 Author Posted 17 September 2004 West Ham played him in midfield last season after they signed Marlon and Zamora, so 8 goals isn't too bad. If you look he'd got 7 goals in 11 games at the start of the season when he was playing upfront.
Mark Posted 17 September 2004 Posted 17 September 2004 Looking at that he's only really been prolific at Wimbledon for a few seasons, obviously takes a lot to score that amount of goals but 42 of his 70 goals in England were within 2 seasons at Wimbledon..
