dhermon Posted 18 September 2004 Author Posted 18 September 2004 it sounded like pressman didnt have much to do he has had 2 cleen sheets out of 3 games so a good start at least whats people thoughts on dublin jonesy was saying he looked tired as the game went on as for blake i would not want to be him for a millon dollars oh how he must want to play for us with the way he was greeted some players it would spur on others just makes them worse and i think he is the second type of player
Guest Daniel Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 Report on the gameDIRE 19853[/snapback] About as good as Micky Adams managment skills you reckon?

I booed when blake came on and chanted Oooh Tommy Wright. Its bad when the fans haveto tell the manager what to do. Arsehole Adams.

Blake has been a lazy git ever since he came to the club and does not deserve to be ahead of Trev or Wright in the pecking order. Clearly MA has his favourites regardless of effort and commitment.

I was loving it, otherwise i was about to walk out but i stayed cause the fans were seeing sense. Well done to the fans, got to get the point across its beyond a joke bringing that pathetic waster on.

DesertFox Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 That was just brilliant. You seem to enjoy booing more than a victory... this got much more of a reaction from you than the result against Sheff Utd... I was loving it You LOVE it when players on your own team are booed??? Uh? WTF? otherwise i was about to walk out You're NOT a real City fan if you EVER even CONSIDER walking out on City. I've sat through some right old shite over the years but have NEVER walked out even a single SECOND before the final whistle. Ever. All REAL fans will be able to say the same. The only people who walk out of football matches are the fair-weather glory hunters who are also the ones who stay longest when a team wins, trying to get on TV... My god, Petrescu, I'm coming to the conclusion that you'd rather see us LOSE! Are you a feckin F****t fan or something??? Get a grip, man!
Mark Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 I've never walked out either believe it or not in 10 years of being a season ticket holder, but Blake coming on nearly brought me to tears. Dont doubt my support, thanks.
DesertFox Posted 19 September 2004 Posted 19 September 2004 Prove it! Start acting like a SUPPORTER rather than revelling in the booing of your own players!
Guest Daniel Posted 19 September 2004 Posted 19 September 2004 Pay your money and have your say. I want Micky Adams out but i dont shout abuse at him like some do, i still get behind the team. I booed blake alot personally as much as the decision to bring him on, because his record says he can do it and we've seen nothing, he isnt trying, if he gave 110% and was shit like Ade was it wouldnt be AS bad.
Foxy1984 Posted 19 September 2004 Posted 19 September 2004 my first time on this board after being a city fan for many years now. i'm not a season ticket holder at the moment as I'm at university and can't get to all the games.. but i get to as many as i can inbetween term and the games i have managed this season have been - watford, sheff utd and burnley. i saw the brighton match on tv as i didn't get back from reading festival in time! yesterday i was in despair at our "performance". It was a complete joke.. and the play has been in all the matches I have seen all season! And I'm fed up with the excuses now. the lack of passion hurts, but i am left wondering what they are working on on the training pitch? it's the same old rubbish weel-in week-out! The lack of movement off the ball astounds me - Nathan Blake being the biggest culprit of this yesterday. We're lucky to be where we are in the table - just shows what a poor quality league we are playing in
