Mark Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 Now before i get going, i already know we didnt lose, but its the way we went about the game a few days after a brilliant performance against Sheffield United. How can a team change so much? They cant lose confidence overnight. Yet another disgraceful performance at home and i cant take anymore shit from Adams (i will still be attending every game though because i support the team through thick and thin and i will do for the rest of my life) i just cant stand the man anymore. Before the match though, i was and for his decision making. Stearman and Wright named as subs, i never thought i'd see the day. But that was the only good decision all day. Dion Dublin is a disaster. How the hell can David Connolly perform when he's got a that plonker to play off. Beyond a joke. Wright and Connolly please anyday, or at least give it a go. Nathan Blake leave me alone i dont want to see you coming on, i was nearly in tears when he was yet again chosen ahead of Tommy. Well done to the fans for boo'ing that decision, it was getting beyond a joke and Adams has trouble learning from certain things, we need to help him but to be honest i think he's helpless. Glad we gave it a go though it was the best moment of the match, thats how shit it was though i suppose. Is Dublin the new Scowcroft? Striker? Defender? Right Back? He played better at right back than up front what does that say? Get RID. Horrible game. Horrible decisions. What did Adams say, the team will get it together after a few wins? Well we got that but it was a shameful performance again, much like Brighton and Watford. He's giving us false hope but not too many can see it. Times up Adams.
Guest Daniel Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 Indeed, Adams out. Its got to happen now. He's running out of ideas. He doesnt know how the hell to make substitutions and when and who. Hes lost the plot and is killing this club.
andy_croydz Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 i agree to an extent we didnt play well, but scowcroft is a good player and dublin is good at nodding on, fans booing blake was fooked up dont ever wanna see the day when the home fans boo there own player again
Mark Posted 18 September 2004 Author Posted 18 September 2004 Well get used to it. I'll be boo'ing him if he comes on again, cant stand the arsehole, uncommited. Do you like to see uncommited players? I couldnt care less if he played for us or Derby. If theres a player playing who couldnt care less about the club he is payed to perform at then he shouldnt be a professional footballer, and to think of the amount of money we are paying him, and Adams - to make these decisions and continually bring him on!! Its insane.
Guest Daniel Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 I will continue to boo the arsehole if he continues to play with no heart. Hes nothing but an idiot, who couldnt give a toss if we win, lose or draw. Sooner have a local lad on who loves the club.
Durnerz Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 How the hell is it Blakes fault that he gets put on?? I'd point the finger more at Adams for putting him on in the first place! City fans today were sh*t so dont ****in have a go at blake for being uncomitted when we sang more or less nothing and just sat back and moaned for the 90. Twats.
andy_croydz Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 petrescu says hes uncommited, yet stewart gets himself sent off for sumthing which is as stupid as ull ever get, so obviuosly if he had thought he wouldent get himself sent off and cost the team, him out the squad aint a bad thing tho least it gives tiatto a chance at left back again
Durnerz Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 Stewart was average today until his idiotic off the ball kickout at a Burnley player, ANY player doing that deserves to go off for violent conduct, idiot. Tiatto is 3 times the player anyway.

Twats. 19874 spot on 19878 Depends where you sit, but I thought L1 tried their best today, despite the shockingly poor football we had to put up with, It's not expecting too much to actually retain the ball and put the opposition under pressure, especially given the so called quality we have in the squad.... The booing was more in the direction of the substituiton of Blake for Connolly - What was the point? He is neither a targetman or a runner, he can't hold the ball up, he has no pace, he doesn't try, seemingly has no ability. He's a nothing. Why does Micky persist with him? It's incredibly frustrating to watch that unfold. People talk about the fans being shit, but the team have to inspire us aswell, it's a mutual thing.
Durnerz Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 19878 Depends where you sit, but I thought L1 tried their best today, despite the shockingly poor football we had to put up with, 19882 Sorry, I disagree, L1 were shit today, nowhere near as good as they can be, and whenever Blake got near the ball he was booed by a lot of people around me, shocking stuff from the City fans and they should be ashamed.
Foxes_Trust Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 The best place to judge the sound of our fans is in the West Stand where you can clearly hear both L1 & the Kop. Being on duty for the Trust in the Directors Box today my view would be the Kop did an excellent job of trying to raise the team, but L1 seemed very quiet (presume being a great distance from the Burnley fans didn't help). Would agree with some of the other posters - as fans we should not be boo-ing our own players onto the pitch it is not going to help them improve is it !
Micky Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 Blake may have been poor today but venting frustration towards him is completely unwarranted. people on this forum have a grudge against blake and pick him out as a scapegoat. o.k. the guys not played well for city but today we were let down by stewart. he deserved to be sent off, he let us down. he should be fined and dropped.

Mark Posted 18 September 2004 Author Posted 18 September 2004 today we were let down by stewart. he deserved to be sent off, he let us down. he should be fined and dropped. 19890 Just like Dublin was? Hmm. He was ok until he got sent off, had a good long range effort and put in some decent crosses, cant think of any other player that was better other than Keown personally.
Wellman Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 i'm in between L1 and The Kop so i should have a good idea at whos the louder. I must say i looked over to L1 a few times today to see if it was our supporters singing or the Burnley fans and it was actually L1 and they were quite loud. I would give the first half to L1 and The Kop the second half 1-1

Stewart let us down with his petulence. Petrescu can you stop kiss assing the youth players of leicester and acknowledge when one of our youngsters has done something wrong.
Mark Posted 18 September 2004 Author Posted 18 September 2004 I know he did something wrong, but saying he should be fined, dropped, whatever isnt on when Dublin didnt get them sort of remarks when he was sent off.

What stewart did today was a bigger let down than blake thats for sure...
andy_croydz Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 petrescu is biased to youngsters, like saying stearman or wright coming on or being on the bench is fantastic and saying scowcroft played badly, really havent got a clue have you

How is Wright and Stearman being on the bench not fantastic? Please enlighten me. I thought it was good for the future.
andy_croydz Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 not on about that bit im on about the scowcroft bit and how u seem to bias towards younger players, and u even admitted to me u like the youth team better than the first team which ive never seen in my 16 years of life until you came along
Mark Posted 18 September 2004 Author Posted 18 September 2004 There are times i like watching the youth team play more than the first team yes, because the first team can put in such dire performances like today. At least with the youth team i know i'm going to see some good prospects playing passing football. These established professionals seem to have trouble in the department of passing.
andy_croydz Posted 18 September 2004 Posted 18 September 2004 well at this time supporting leicester city is the most stupid thing anyone could do, but were all fans and will be through thick and thin, so good times will come soon i believe
