............because I could then resolve not to read the topics titled "Brendan Rodgers", "Injuries" or anything similar.  I get that it's a debate - I really do - but I haven't learnt anything new in months.  From either side.

Also suspect I won't be reading too many replies to this either😆.

Next year my resolution is to not read Transfer Talk in January. Better to pretend that window doesn’t even exist.

...what do you hope to learn!!!

Definitive proof of malpractice by the coaching staff, medical terms explained without the need for jargon, finding that all these injuries begun when the monks stopped coming into the dressing room.

We might never resolve the injury  situation as the club withhold a lot of information so we will never know who was right or wrong.

The Brendan thread may just go on forever as we have two opposing views about his abilities and as usual the truth lies somewhere in between.

Shutting down the Brendan thread would serve little purpose as every game his popularity swings wildly and affords posters a chance to vent.

I really do not think the thread is there to gain insight, just a receptacle for people to converse, usually with hyperbole or in overly emotive terms.

Well done @Aus Fox. What a memory!

Increasingly I understand what a mess we were in.

Final nail for me was learning Brendan only allowed the FA cup and Charity Shield trophies to be displayed. The ego really had landed.

Happy new year everyone and I'll listen to you more in future.
