I didn't see the game but I don't think I've seen a managerial turnaround quite like it. After that Spurs game he was doomed and it was only going one way. Fair play for him to turn it around as I thought it was too far gone. We're playing like it's 2019.

Let's give credit where it's due. He's managed to perform a Great Escape of his own - on the back of either the patience of the 'board' (or its indecisiveness), the recruitment of Lars Knudsen - a coach who's managed to do his job effectively, and the steadying influence of the magnificent Wout Faes. Oh, and the consistency of Maddison & Co in maintaining a rate of scoring which is (adjusting for games played) is better than all but five of Prem teams. Tielemans has also improved no end.

As for Saturday, I could only assess from MotD, but certain players I've been highly critical of, Perez and Soumare, had moments of sheer class which resulted in clinically scoring.

And, leaving egg on the face of his tedious detractors, Luke Thomas got a mention on how effective he'd been in his tackling.

So, the bright spark who stated that we were in need of another LB can cease to agonise - although, for a lot of Thomas 'haters' the lad would need to consistently emulate Ashley Cole to gain acceptance with this strange clique.

The team has turned the corner - hopefully this trend will continue - but the likely exit of Tielemans - possibly followed by Madders - will test Rodgers ability to create a team capable of sustaining this recent renaissance.

Did he even get booked? A straight red wouldn’t have been a big surprise.

Craig Dawson scored for West Brom in a 1-1-1 draw away to Tottenham, in a crucial match in Apr 2016.

So he is not allowed to be sent off whilst playing against us ...  :)

More like he thought he was safe from getting stick now. Always used to come over until the bad run set in. Either way, it’s good that unity has broken out again.

No even in defeats this season…he stopped has we won our first game..

Of course. How could I forget. That was the night I offered my hand in marriage to Tony Pulis.
