The man in the check shirt was mates with our drama teacher at school.He came in to help out once.Nice bloke.It was a few years after the Swithland motors ad campaign.He told us that he’d been on the tele but that we probably wouldn’t remember.Well I did remember it.How could you forget such a classic.

IIRC Swithland were the first to import Skoda's which were generally binned off as crap (which they were back then). Look where they are now.

First place to have a sales team that were all women, iirc? Seen as a gimmick then, wouldn't be even commented on now.

Shame it all went pear-shaped and legal measures were involved. Wonder what my old class mate Ricky is up to now...
