Leadership starts with the manager, sadly Rodger’s is no leader. He also doesn’t sign players who are leaders as he doesn’t want to be challenged by anyone else!

...I would suspect that the strongest personality that Rodgers would have envisaged coming in would have been Kasper,  Wes and Vardy!!!

  Vardy seems like a model professional off the pitch despite his persona when he plays. Wes Morgan is not a player that is confrontational on or off the pitch, he just leads by example,  but Kasper would have been the player that Rodgers would have had to be aware of.

  Kasper leaving to go to Nice, would have been a breath of fresh air for Rodgers.  There are no individuals in this team who are a strong enough character to challenge him (Kasper also had the owners ear), and that is the reason for our inability to lift ourselves to compete, no real leaders outthere on the park.

Soyuncu and Praet for starters. Several Liverpool players have said the same.
