Opted to watch Leicester today so missing the game. Poor choice on my part i think haha. Hoping for another solid performance

He's had appendicitis. He was there today, but he's another 2-3 weeks away from being fit.

 

You missed another lacklustre performance first half. Stratford hit the bar twice and had two other very good chances. For the first 10 minutes of the second half it was all Coalville. Shaw should've scored but contrived to hit the bar from 6 yards.

 

Once Stratford scored we lost all momentum and only regained it after the second goal. Again, schoolboy defending. I thought Stratford deserved the win. Young McGlinchey looked assured when he came on, but we missed Putnam terribly today.

Not only did we win the game, we dominated. Some classy goals tonight and probably the best 90 minutes of the season. I really hope this is the corner turned.

 

Both Roddy and Andi were superb in the middle and the front 4 ran riot.

He was mostly a spectator but what he had to do he did well. He didn’t have a chance with the goal. Whitey needs some competition with mistakes creeping back into his own performances.

Last night was a good measure of what Roddy will give us, which is a little bit of everything. JDC is back on Saturday, but then suspended again for Telford - I’m not sure why. I think Roddy will start on Saturday.

Ingles beat Hinckley on penalties in the Senior Cup last night! Took a few hidings off them, so it was nice to score late and then go on and win at penalties.

 

Hathern, Kirby or Barrow/North Kilworth in the last 4.

Wouldn’t be able to play in a Saturday, so can’t see that getting approval.

Wouldn't say there mouthing off about Barwell. But im surprised theyve come out and said there looking at Barwell rather than waiting until its setting stone. 

 

I think there hoping for doug king to extend the offer of the cbs to the end of the season.. wishful thinking. I did hear so rumours doug king as said if Boro can attract more than 3k tomorrow, boro can stay on... but i think we fall short just over 1k i think.

 

700 sold as of this morning... sorry that is poor. Chance to see Boro in massive stadium and still folk wont turn up.

Very well played from your lads, well organised, took us a wonder goal to get a breakthrough. Poor defending to concede from a long throw like that but is what it is, think your lads wanted it more at that point. 
 

Can definitely see why you’re in the mix though, hoping you guys can hold onto a play off spot, granted we can keep top spot. Think a play off at that point is a fairly level playing field other than Droitwich and they’re prone to awful defending. 
 

Either way, good lucky in the cup and hopefully it’s a different result on Boxing Day!

Barwell isn’t an option though, they have tenants as it stands. Unless they’re trying to replace them (which won’t happen) and that is very poor form. You also have the likes of Bedworth down the road, who don’t have any secondary team playing there currently, but either way you should refrain from going to the papers until a deal has been agreed. 
 

That said; don’t put down to malice what can be explained by stupidity. Either way not an encouraging start for a company that specialises in flipping businesses from their existing owners…

Barwell would rub their hands if Boro became tenants rather than hinckley based on bigger gates. But if a deal as already there with hinckley then barwell cant just kick them out.

 

Bedworth have been suggested, my understanding the chairman of Beduff is no fan of Boro and not expecting a favour. Summit about he wanted over the odds for ground use.

 

8 days till home to Telford... is the king power available?

Watching a non league club in an empty big stadium is shit not exciting imo

I think it’s very, very poor that a club what have been asking for good will in the last weeks talk to a local newspaper before the deal is agreed and the other ground sharing AFC Hinckley know anything about it!

The rent would have nothing to do with gates - the Barwell Clubhouse might make some more money but that’s about it

The social club is its own entity and completely separate from the football club, so no benefit there either. Food & drink handled by each club separately too. Really is all down to rent.
