The social club is its own entity and completely separate from the football club, so no benefit there either. Food & drink handled by each club separately too. Really is all down to rent.

Was my thought after I put it.

I fear for tomorrow’s game at Walsall Wood given the forecast and the amount of rain that fell on Thursday. Hopefully, it’s on as it promises to be a decent game. Cup games are also to a pain when they’re postponed as they take precedence over league fixtures.

Off, meaning Telford is now off on Tuesday.
Hope this competition doesn’t mess up the fixture list again this season, it’s the reason we didn’t go up last season IMO.

The forecast looks a lot better between now and Tuesday so fingers crossed it only impacts the Telford game.

Sounds like Nuneaton gave quite a game to the most popular team in non league football

Unlucky on the day, end to end and could have gone either way. Cam McWilliams causing so many problems to Fylde. Good day out despite. 882 attendance with around 25-30 from fylde.

Why use Coventry’s stadium if they can’t even get a thousand people in? Wonder how much it has cost them with hiring it out and paying staff to work for the day.

Cov apparently gave it over free of charge

Cov gave it Boro free of charge, but it was restricted attendance. I think if we got any more than a 1,000 then Boro would have had to have paid.

Why don’t Nuneaton ground-share at Hinckley LRFC?

Quoted them £1k a game lol

DA Capital new owners at Boro, well was have come and gone, been in charge for four weeks and left. Changed nothing, spent nothing... waste of time.  By the sound of things the whole thing was falling apart soon after they signed the paperwork. Apparently there is two other interested parties, one is already sponsor at the club and is fan almost attends every game. Apparently he wanted to takeover before DA Capital, but the owners thought DA's bid was better... yeah.... good decision there then lol. The whole thing never felt right, the new owners never came out... no statement, no plan, no introduction, in fact they never attended a single game. Why they got involved we will never know.

Good point for Coalville down at Needham Market. Done without JDC and White as well, like to see us continue without this pair of clowns in the team going forward.

Hopefully Nuneaton get liquidated (again). Horrible club, horrible fans. Massive sense of entitlement. They’re a bit of tumor in non-league. Better off not existing.

Is the bar still operational with Nuneaton away from LW? If so, I assume it’s a different asset and unaffected by what happens to the club proper? If it isn’t, then isn’t she unfortunately out a job already?

Whilst I don’t agree any club should go out of business, there’s an institutional rot at Nuneaton and such a mountain of debt that the only way they could get on the straight and narrow is to remove a lot of the power players and do one of two things:

A- accept voluntary relegation, work off debts over a few years and rebuild once it’s in a manageable position. Accept that may mean groundsharing with the likes of Griff if it means saving money and clearing as much debt as possible to speed up the process

B- accept the club in its current guise isn’t salvageable and start again as a Phoenix club, either under a trusted individual or supporter-ran

Theres no way Nuneaton will be able to compete at their current level with their level of debt. No one without dodgy intentions (see: DA Capital) will want to buy them, maybe bought out by a well-meaning fan who has the resource but even that would realistically mean going back to option A to steady the ship before rebuilding.

Up to Nuneaton fans to step up, vote with their feet if necessary and organise to ensure there’s continuity regardless. Not a nice situation but the bare reality now. Had years to work on the debt and they did GoFundMe campaigns for players chasing glory instead.

She’s been let down by the people who have been running the club.

What have Nuneaton been doing this season to try and operate within their means, still got high earning players and over inflated coaching set up and back room  staff.

Boro cant get to the bar. Its locked up like everything else. From what was told bar staff, have been but on other duties on matchday today like working turnstiles but thats temp. Longer bar is closed, less money club make.

Once again fans suffer.

Go fund as been tempted many times but never comes to anything. You have idiots in the town whod rather spent hundreds pounds to be on a waiting list at Liverpool.

But at the same time shouldn't be fans covering clubs debts. They caused it, they can get us out of it.
