Right, and this is always what I've not gotten regarding conspiracies that directly challenge the scientific consensus.

 

Scientists, apart from a few well-known exceptions who have parleyed their interest into lots of books or TV time, are not rich. Not by comparison to the interests that would be threatened by the change required to address this massive issue. And conspiracies are almost always for the purpose of gaining money and/or some other power.

 

So where the pork?

 

The whole thing is illogical and that illogical propensity to buy into the status quo and conspirational bollocks is going to cause - is already causing - lot of damage. And that I cannot abide and people should be held accountable for.
