It usually depends on HOW they go. There's a lot more outlets these days for making statements and airing your grievances. Some haven't had the grace to even thank the club for giving them a chance.

 

Schmeichel will always get a warm welcome. He's conducted himself with dignity and never gave less than 100% for the club. For me his save won the cup as much as Tielemans goal. I think others such as Fuchs, Huth, Morgan, Okazaki, Ulloa and probably even Kante from the title side will get applause whenever they come back.

 

Chilwell's reactions to the crowd before and after he left have been appalling. The cup "equaliser" where he sprints off then looks a right tw@ was hilarious. But scoring then cupping your ears back at King Power earlier this season was a total pisstake.

 

Maguire I couldn't care less. Decent for us, got a wild fee for him. Anything sung about him since is just in good humour because of his failings at Utd.

 

The one for me that's hard to take is Mahrez. He was an absolute nobody before Leicester. The club made him, rewarded him well and he repaid them by going on strike and making stupid comments to his mate Slimani about Chelsea being a "proper club". He's made a lot of statements praising us since but he could have handled things far better when he left.

His celebration when the Chairman died, that he dedicated too. and the twitter message of support a few weeks before relegation about LCFC can stay up. As per usual, people believe anything they read these days. The boy has plenty of respect for what LCFC gave him. let him live his life.

I just dont care about them, when they leave they are dead to me, I dont wish luck etc. They are competitors I wish them faliure. 

 

Its more when players bad mouth, or throw their toys out of the pram I have an issue. Mahrez would have been fine if he didnt whinge, quality player, we plucked him from nowhere, he now at the best club in the world winning champions leagues, but he had a contract he signed. 

 

Kante was more Rudkins stupid release claused. 

 

Fine move on, but negotiate a fair deal, you signed the contract! Something about whiny millionaires is a tad annoying!
