As of at the tournament start... 

 

22/23 year-olds, compared to England's 7:

 

Spain - 18

Romania, Switzerland - 16

France, Norway, - 14

Netherlands - 13

Croatia - 12

Belgium, Georgia, Portugal, Ukraine, Czech, Israel - 11

Germany - 10

Italy - 9

 

 

England had the youngest squad!

I agree that we would do well to have him - but only in the sense that he is an extremely talented footballer not that he is too good for the championship, which is an insult to all the great players that have had a loan in the championship e.g your harry Kanes and mason mounts etc. U21 football is a different breed to mens.

He's more advanced at this point than the likes of Kane was. If he goes on loan, that Leipzig rumour makes some sense.

 

It's a shame because he'd be great for us.
