Yes the club will blame Covid, but we couldn’t match the impact of Fernandes at Man United. I’m not saying we should have signed someone as good, we just needed reinforcements who could make a tangible difference.

Rodgers signing a big contract, the 4-0 home defeat against Liverpool and the awful Jan 2020 window all cost us big time for years

Not a fan of Rodgers. But it should serve as a reminder that King Power were not keen to massively invest in the playing squad, prior to Covid!
